Yep Really, I bring a camera pretty much everywhere and yes in a parking lot and when your crossing a snowy street because you are adorable to me. I want to remember your long legs, your fav red backpack, and the floppy hat you lived in all winter. The crazy 2017 snowstorm winter.

Its SO cold out there right now, the snow isn’t melting even with the sun out. But we got some awesome sunshine and the kids had fun playing and loading up more wood!

I shot with the sun coming in behind her, it was pretty bright so I processed this in lightroom and made it darker so you could see the air coming out of her breath. I kind of love this picture of her. <3

The snow keeps falling from the trees in big dusty snow clouds and I caught him running for it!

Shooting into that beautiful light. Time out. Let me take a picture. Brother is back there waiting for her. Canon MarkII 70-200mm @135mm 1/320 sec;   f/3.2;   ISO 500

He wanted to take a picture with his icicle, I said sure for the shadow and his cute smile.

Mornings are so quiet and relaxing so I went around capturing what my loves were doing.

Notice Buddy dog gets around in the morning for pets and cuddles. HA!

We have 3 boys, it has been an awesome crazy adventure of raising these guys. As you can see my partner in the middle and I have had our hands full….or so you would think. Until you get to know us and realize he is right there with them! We are real, life can get ugly and hard like all families but also so much fun and gah I love being apart of this crazy!

Looking at my settings now I would not have shot at an 11, I didn’t realize it was at this since I always shoot below 4. But the partner was out taking a cool shot of his glass orb thing in the snow and I missed that. But I got some fun shots in less than 5 minutes.

These two hit it off pretty fast and I’m so thankful for that because after moving across the country its nice for her to have a nearby friend!
I shot these using my Canon Mark II, 24-40mm. I love the ease of this camera and the nice image that always seems to come out of it. Trusty bad boy for sure.

Shot at 24mm from above going wide and cropped it in editing it. 1/160 sec;   f/4.0;   ISO 2500

shot at 30mm, 1/160 sec; f/2.8; ISO 3200

Usually I’m on the side for the shot but with the wood so low I was able to go behind and get this fun angle.  shot at 24mm, 1/160 sec; f/2.8; ISO 2500 (as you can see I usually try to keep my shutter speed at least at 125 -160 when capturing moving kids but dealing with low light)
